FREMONT, Calif., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- 6th Sense Communications Inc., an innovative provider of wireless services, today announced 6th Sense, a mobile personal networking service for users to find people in the local proximity that they might want to meet. With 6th Sense, a user can create multiple electronic profiles, each comprising of personal or professional characteristics, which are then used to meet other users. When activated on a mobile phone, 6th Sense scans the local surroundings to find other users with similar profiles. Users are notified of potential matches, and can preview matched profiles on their mobile phone as a precursor to a face-to-face meeting.

Unlike other location-based services, 6th Sense guarantees matches within the local proximity with an easy to use mobile phone application that works in conjunction with sophisticated server technologies. The mobile application supports a variety of mobile phones and combines location awareness with the easy selection of multiple personal profiles. User profiles are managed through the web, and patent-pending technologies deliver profile matches based on multiple criteria.
