Mobile Cohesion launches Automated 3rd Party Relationship Management product - HYDRA 2.0
3GSM World Congress, Cannes, 14th February 2005 – Leading vendor of 3PRM systems, Mobile Cohesion (Stand: F62b, Hall 2), today announced the commercial availability of its HYDRA 2.0 product, the category-defining solution in Automated 3rd Party Relationship Management (3PRM).
HYDRA 2.0 enables Service Providers to implement a Service Exposure Layer on top of their existing Service Delivery Platform (SDP) while protecting and leveraging existing SDP investments. The new 3PRM product allows the mobile operator to overcome existing barriers to implement a broad portfolio of 3rd-party services and is an essential component to allow the mobile network deal efficiently with a large community of Service Providers (SPs).
Service Providers, including Mobile Network Operators, Mobile Virtual Network Operators and Application Service Providers, are rapidly increasing their investments in SDP technology, in order to enable the delivery of a broad range of compelling content and services to their customers.
These SPs need to manage the complexity of messaging, voice and browsing applications alongside the secure exposure of network capabilities, like positioning and charging, without redundant investments. Maintaining such a dynamic service bundle sets completely new requirements on rapid service enrollment, multi-channel traffic flow, billing, service and content provider management, and business reporting.
Per Lindblad, CEO of Mobile Cohesion, said, “3PRM is a unique concept in partner management for mobile networks, which brings automation and control of the partner relationship to the network and the Service Providers. The market is ready for 3PRM now, which is shown by increasing interest from the service provider community. HYDRA 2.0 is already commercially deployed in Europe and is at the centre of several ongoing trials globally.”
