This is the highest recorded WAP traffic in the Indian mobile network and comes very close to levels seen in developed mobile markets such as the UK. Some analysts believe one factor promoting this growth in traffic has been the popularity of flat-rate usage pricing employed by some of the leading operators such as Hutch.
