CSL Joins with GoRemote to Provide 3G and Wi-Fi Roaming Services

MILPITAS, Calif., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GoRemote Internet Communications, Inc, the leading provider of managed secure remote access solutions, today announced the addition of 3G and cellular connectivity to the GoRemote Global Network(TM) through an agreement with CSL, a leading mobile operator in Hong Kong. This alliance will enable CSL and GoRemote to deliver the industry's first solution to provide mobile users with the world's largest secure wireless access network by integrating mobile data connectivity combined with Wi-Fi and dial-up access.
Under the agreement, GoRemote will be able to offer integrated cellular data and Wi-Fi service offerings to its mobile customers. Inclusion of the CSL wireless data roaming network will provide comprehensive UMTS/WCDMA and GPRS coverage to GoRemote customers. CSL provides network coverage in Hong Kong, as well as over 230 countries/territories via roaming agreements. This coverage comes in addition to the more than 48,000 wireless and wired access points in approximately 150 countries already included in the GoRemote Global Network.
This alliance bolsters GoRemote's leadership in delivering complete, integrated and secure managed remote access solutions to enterprises and service providers. By combining and securing all types of access including 3G and GPRS connectivity, free Wi-Fi and paid Wi-Fi hotspots, and in-flight Wi-Fi, GoRemote offers business professionals the easiest and most secure way to remain productive away from the office.
